Full Garden Design
Working closely with you throughout the design process to develop your outdoor space we will ensure that it becomes both a place that you love and one that adds value to your home.

With a focus on both beauty and function, no matter the size, we will draw nature into your personal space, endeavouring to make the best use of the budget available whilst ensuring that your garden design has a positive impact on the environment.

With an approachable and friendly service we will consider how you use a space, how your personal taste can be reflected in your design and how to ensure that your garden becomes the best room in your house.

See below for my Design Process or get in touch for a Discovery Chat.
1. Consultation
We will discuss your outdoor space, identify any issues and consider how you would like to use the space.
I will need to take videos and photographs to gather information to inform the design brief and identify the challenges, opportunities and practicalities of the site.
I will then prepare a quotation detailing the services that have been discussed for you to formally accept.

2. Design
For the design process to begin I will need a topographical survey. I can survey smaller gardens with simple topography myself but, for larger projects I can recommend a land surveyor to provide this for you.

I will then create a hand drawn concept design which considers all the information available at this point relating to the site aspect, design brief and budget. We will then meet for me to present this to you.

Once agreed I will produce a scaled design outline which includes hard landscaping choices, structures, trees and hedges. This design outline could be handed directly to your chosen contractor enabling them to bring the design to fruition or I can support you in finding a contractor who will be able to help.
3. Build
I can prepare and manage the tender process on your behalf, issuing the necessary documentation to potential contractors so that they can provide accurate quotations based exact specifications.
At this point it might be necessary to consult a structural engineer or lighting and aquatic specialist to build your new garden.
Once the quotations arrive with you, I can help in selecting the right contractor for the job and give ongoing support during your garden build. Regular visits can be scheduled to check at specific stages of the design, as much or as little as you need.
