The Brief

Two sitting areas one near the house and another in the shade to include a pergola or structure. Some lawn with country style planting and year round interest. A small vegetable garden and greenhouse.

The Solution

A grown-up entertaining space close to the house and lawned area for children to play surrounded by traditional cottage garden planting A more secluded raised seating area to catch the evening sun with pergola reducing the need for extensive excavation. A vegetable garden with espalier fruit trees and raised beds withing a low wall to restrict the access of the family dog.
